The Land: Markovia is wild
and undeveloped. Perched in the Balinoks near the center of the Core, it includes a major valley and surrounding peaks. No
town exist---only occasional groupings of crude huts, which were built by beast men.
The Folk: Markovia has no
folk, only the beast men. Travelers should not linger here, lest they become permanent residents. The beast men pursue a crude
existence as hunters and gathers.
